On Monday, the Miami Dolphins got off to a rapid fire start to free agency. Shaq Lawson, Byron Jones, Kyle Van Noy, and Clayton Fejedelem were all acquired in order to fix a once lackluster defense.
The Dolphins front office, led by General Manager Chris Grier continues to pursue low-risk, high reward deals, with the addition of Defensive End Emmanuel Ogbah.
The 26-year old has registered 154 tackles (61 solo) and 18 sacks in 50-games over four seasons. Once a second round draft selection, their is a chance Ogbah is the hidden gem in Coach Brian Flores’s defensive scheme.
Before suffering a torn-pectoral that forced him to miss the remainder of the season, Ogbah was in the midst of a career year, totaling 32 tackles and 5.5 sacks in just 10 games.
