The stars were out in full force at the Holiday Hoopsgiving event hosted at Shiloh High School in Atlanta, Georgia.

Meet Liberty Heights forward Jonas Aidoo: a four-star center who has recently listed the University of Miami in his ‘Top 10’ schools list. 305 Sports’ Isaac Fleischer was at the event and caught up with Aidoo on his recruitment with the Hurricanes.

According to Aidoo, Miami has been recruiting him “pretty hard, checking in weekly with [Aidoo] and sending [him] articles about the school.”

Thanks to his 7-foot height, the No. 4 overall player in North Carolina is able to dominate in the paint with ease. Additionally, he can also distribute the ball in the half-court. If Aidoo were to commit, his impact would likely be felt immediately, whether it’s rebounding, blocking shots or being able to finish and create a dominant post presence.

The No. 83 prospect in the class of 2021 likes many assets that the UM has to offer.

“It’s a beautiful campus. It’s one of the best campuses I’ve ever seen,” Aidoo tells 305 Sports. “It’s an ACC school so I’ll be playing one of my hometown teams too [either North Carolina State or North Carolina] and it’ll develop me into a next a next-level big.”

Besides Miami in Aidoo’s ‘Top 10’, the other schools listed are Marquette, Wake Forest, NC State, Kansas, Tennessee, South Carolina, Providence, Georgia and Houston as well.
