One of Dade County’s most versatile prospects, three-star Miami Palmetto WR Brashard Smith listed his top 5 teams on Thursday afternoon.
The local WR/APB listed Miami, Florida, Auburn, Oregon, and Tennessee as his final options ahead of his commitment.
Smith is one of the most underrated players in the nation for the 2021 recruiting class. 247 Sports pegs him as the No. 2 all-purpose back in the nation and the No. 52 prospect in the state of Florida.
The 2019 Miami Herald All-Dade 8A-6A first-team selection recorded 36 receptions for 628 yards (17.4 yards per catch) and 13 touchdowns as a junior for the Panthers.
Smith would be a welcome addition to Rhett Lashlee’s offense. His ability as a slot receiver would bode well for a Miami offense currently looking for one. He is 5-8.5′ and 190 lbs, very similar to Miami’s last great slot WR Braxton Berrios, as runs a 4.34 40-time.
On Wednesday, Smith’s teammate Corey Collier put out his final six schools.
